Wishing you a Holy Advent and Christmas Season!
We would like to thank the following groups and individuals who helped plan and prepare our largest Advent By Candlelight to date! (226 Attendees!) THANK YOU: servers, hostesses, the Parish Boy Scout troop, and members of the Advent by Candlelight committee ~ Lisa Dougherty, Julie Sanclemente, Cheryl Whalen, Pat Marquis, Judy Jennings, Lisa Mages-Haskins and Gayle Baber! 
This is an annual event for women that includes hors d’oeuvres, a guest speaker, songs, reflections and fellowship. Advent By Candlelight is held just before the start of Advent, to help women reflect on, prepare for, and focus on Christ before the busy holiday season.
OUR 2024 SPEAKER
We are pleased to welcome Katie Sciba back to Bangor as our Advent by Candlelight speaker. A ten-time Catholic Press Award winning columnist widely recognized for her humor and honesty, Katie has a degree in theology from Benedictine College. Her work on Catholic minimalism, spiritual intimacy with Christ, as well as the domestic church has impacted audiences for over a decade. Katie writes for The Catholic Telegraph in Cincinnati and cohosts Two Coins Culture, a podcast on pursuing holy simplicity. Katie and her family live in Omaha, Nebraska.
