The Pilar Thibodeau Volunteer of the Year Award was established to honor the generosity and commitment of Mrs. Pilar Thibodeau who voluntarily managed the day-to-day operations of The Attic thrift store for 35 years. Mrs. Thibodeau oversaw the scheduling and training of over 90 dedicated weekly volunteers while actively soliciting and sorting thousands of donations, stocking shelves and building relationships with customers dependent on these affordable items. It is Mrs. Thibodeau’s faith in Christ and belief in corporal works of mercy that motivated her steadfast leadership. Thanks to her vision, The Attic continues to thrive while benefiting the community and All Saints Catholic School. Her example serves as a catalyst toward recognizing other individuals whose faith inspires in them the desire to serve others.
The Attic thrift store contributes financial support to All Saints Catholic School while fulfilling the need to offer gently used household items and clothing at a reasonable price to people who struggle financially in our community.
